I am Gina Cruz, originally from New Jersey, and currently studying Communications - Public Relations at the University of New Haven. I have always adored taking pictures, organizing events, and creating flyers for others. This website is made to expand my portfolio and reach other audiences through my work.

FIRST Mentor
I was given the creative freedom to run various social media accounts for this organization. I created flyers for the events this organization was hosting. Exercised communication between my team on their needs for the events and media to take. When needed, I was able to host an event or two to promote the club and their accomplishments.
This position allowed me to create a welcoming and safe environment for first-year students to become acclimated to their new environment.

I selected this university to continue my schooling because of its communications department and the opportunities the school had to offer. Within my time as an undergraduate student, I was able to hold multiple leadership positions and represent the school in the COSGA conference held at the Texas A&M campus.
I completed my high school education at Hoboken High in Hoboken, NJ. I was part of multiple clubs controlling their social media accounts, crowd control, and organizing events for the student body.
